What we collect
When you use the DNA Gaming Discord bot or this website, we may store:
- Your Discord user ID and display name/nickname
- WoW character names and realms you link with
/link, and the public Mythic+ stats Raider.IO reports for them - LFG posts and raid RSVPs you create or join
- Moderation records (warnings, mutes, kicks, bans) issued by our Officers, including the reason given
We don't collect passwords, payment details, or anything beyond what Discord's own API and Raider.IO's public API already expose.
How we use it
Purely to run the community: matching you into groups, tracking raid attendance, showing character stats, and moderating the server. We don't sell data, and we don't use it for advertising targeting beyond whatever Google AdSense itself does on this website (see below).
Where it's stored
All bot data is stored on our own self-hosted server, backed up daily with a 14-day retention window. It is not shared with any third party except:
- Discord — governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy
- Raider.IO — we query their public API for character stats; see their privacy policy
Cookies & advertising
This website may show ads via Google AdSense, which can use cookies to personalize ads based on your visits here and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ads Settings.
Your choices
You can unlink a character at any time by asking an Officer, and you can leave the Discord server at any time — leaving removes your access but does not automatically erase historical moderation or raid-attendance records. To request full deletion of your data, contact us (below).
Children's privacy
This community is not directed at children under 13, in line with Discord's own minimum age requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy as the bot's features change. Material changes will be announced in the Discord server.
